The Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka are holding the Festival of India in Sri Lanka from the 19 November 2015.
The High Commission of India in Sri Lanka will launch ‘SANGAM’ - the Logo for the Festival of India in Sri Lanka on 18 November 2015 in Colombo.
The inaugural event of the Festival ‘Nrityarupa’ is being organised at the most iconic venue in Colombo – the famed Neelum Pokuna Theatre, on 19 November 2015. Former President of Sri Lanka Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga will be the chief guest at the inaugural event. A number of Ministers of Sri Lanka and members of the Diplomatic community will also be present on the occasion.
