India is celebrating the Birth Centenary of Acharya Shri Vidyanandji Maharaj from 22nd April 2025 to 22nd April 2026 to honour his profound legacy as a revered Jain monk, philosopher, and scholar. The inaugural ceremony took place at Shravanabelagola, Karnataka, with dignitaries and devotees in attendance.
Key highlights include national seminars on Jain philosophy, publication of his rare works, exhibitions, spiritual workshops, and youth outreach programs. The Ministry of Culture, along with Jain institutions, has also launched a dedicated website and digital archive to preserve his teachings.
This centenary pays homage to a visionary who championed ahimsa, dharma, and interfaith harmony.
