Chuguli Kumar Sahoo

born on June 15, 1968, in Dhenkanal, Odisha

Chuguli Kumar Sahoo is an accomplished Indian sculptor and artist. He holds an M.F.A. from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, Japan, and the College of Art, New Delhi. His early training includes studies at Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan, and B.K. College of Art and Crafts, Bhubaneswar. Over the years, Sahoo has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Senior Fellowship Award by the Government of India (2023-25) and the 63rd National Exhibition of Art Award (2023). His work has been exhibited globally, including in Japan and India, and he has participated in numerous symposiums and workshops. He continues to contribute to the art world through teaching and professional engagements, including serving as a visiting lecturer at the College of Art, New Delhi.
