Manisha Jha
1970 born in Satlakha, Bihar, India Lives and works in New Delhi, India
Manisha Jha is a Mithila painter by tradition and Architect, Planner, interior designer, book illustrator and author. She has done architecture and planning from Institute of environmental design Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat and interior designing from New Delhi Polytechnic for Women, New Delhi. She is founder of Madhubani Art Centre, which works with the mission “to enhance and keep alive the rich folk Art traditions by creating awareness and finest Art-works for economic sustenance of women”. She has exhibited her works in India, USA, USSR, Mauritius,France, Germany, Canada, Austria. Painting since last forty years and exhibiting since last twenty five years. She has done more than One hundred and fifty one exhibitions across the globe. Her works are in collection of several museums, art lovers and companies like General Electrics, USA, Nestle, Godfrey Phillips, Lohia's, L & T and many others.
