The Ministry of Culture hosted a high-level Museum Roundtable on 24th July 2025 at the National Museum, New Delhi, bringing together leading national and international experts. Focused on the themes of curation, design, and emerging technologies, the event served as a vibrant forum for dialogue on advancing museum practices. The Secretary, Ministry of Culture, delivered the inaugural address, outlining the Government’s vision to modernise India's museum ecosystem through collaboration and innovation.

The roundtable featured interactive sessions that explored global trends in museum design, programming, and technology adoption. Participants shared best practices, emphasised the importance of sustainable and inclusive museum spaces, and discussed ways to integrate heritage preservation with forward-looking museological strategies. The event reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to fostering international cooperation, innovation, and professional development to elevate Indian museums as world-class cultural institutions of the future.
