What Is It Famous For?
As per the residents, SIttong Forest is well-known for its massive cultivation of oranges and a special chili variety known as Dalle Khursani. They say that chili is rich in vitamins and good for health.
How Is It Unique?
All the houses in Sitong have gardens, and every garden has orange trees. During the winter, the entire village becomes orange.
Any Historic Incident?
The residents of Sittong Forest shared that the Durga Temple in the village was established in 1988. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga (goddess of power) and is a sacred place of worship for the people here.
