World Environment Day
The Regional Science Centre & Planetarium Calicut, in collaboration with the Society for Protection of Environment, Kerala (SPEK), is hosting a World Environment Day celebration on June 5, 2025, with the theme "Eliminate Plastic Pollution."
The event features two programs:
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM:
A workshop on Green Plastic System led by Dr. A. Sujith, Professor at NIT Calicut, where participants will learn to prepare various biocomposites.
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM:
"Echoes of the Living Planet," an edutainment session on EVS with demonstrations, lyrical narration, and performances by students, trainees, and staff.
The event will take place at the RSCPC Auditorium.
